The Escudo has a great appearance with dark maduro/oscuro wrapper leaves. The wrapper is shiny and rather oily. This “gordito” size is slightly larger than a regular Robusto. Already opulent before the smoke, the vitola delivers ample and rich smoke. A typical Cuban piece, with a lot of character. Scents of peppers, humus and wet soils.
